Meat and Poultry Product Labeling Short Course

The objectives of this labeling course are to teach USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service requirements for labeling of inspected meat and poultry products, including basic labeling, Child Nutrition Labeling and Nutrtion Labeling. Target audiences include employees of licensed establishments responsible for labeling and regulatory compliance, for products made under meat inspection, as well as regulatory employees who are responsible for meat and poultry product labels. 

Key Presenters:
Susan Glenn has worked for 25 years in regulatory and technical positions at Prime Label, Design Foods and State Fair Foods. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. 


Lamar Hendricks worked for 21 years in Regulatory Compliance at Hillshire Farm-Khans and Sara Lee Foods before retiring. Most importantly, Lamar is an OSU alumni.
